Morgana's Story
A DRESS FOR EVERYONE
Courtney from Barossa Bridal here to introduce our very own designs thought up right here in the Barossa Valley. You might have read how the shop came to be in our about section, but this is the story of how we have developed from a very new small business into a dress label.

I have always had a passion for art but was never good enough to make it a profession. So, just like all childhood dreams they were pushed away and replaced with skills related to the average workforce.
​
At first, I was ok with my artistic ability used for nothing more than doodling when bored or designing something on paper that would stay on paper. Then, in the late Spring of 2024 after a successful opening of Barossa Bridal I started doodling dresses of my own designs based off what my customers were wanting. A mentor in the bridal industry happened to oversee one of my drawings and said that I should one day make those dresses a reality. I of course did not need any more provocation before I started doing just that.
Only a few weeks later and I had enough drawings to start a small collection and found a manufacturer to help me bring my designs to life. In the early Summer of 2025, we plan to officially release the "Australia Collection", containing thirteen dresses inspired by Australia and her climate. We will range from light, airy dresses perfect for a summer wedding, to spectacular show stopping gowns. At Barossa Bridal we pride ourselves on being plus-sized specialists so Morgana Bridal will reflect that ambition to serve brides of all shapes and sizes.

Fun fact: Morgana meaning "Born of the Sea" which is exactly where I was born (Port Adelaide) before making my way to the beautiful Barossa Valley.

Hi, I’m Tania Olsen, the designer behind the eponymous brand based in Brisbane, Australia.
The Tania Olsen brand was born out of a desire to create a space where cool bride vibes meet a devoted and inclusive wedding dress experience.
As a designer, I am always mindful of the modern bride’s desires and preferences. I understand that today’s brides are looking for more than just traditional wedding dresses – they want designs that reflect their unique style and personality. That’s why I infuse each collection with a touch of modernity, creating dresses that are contemporary, fresh, and on-trend.
From incorporating innovative cuts and silhouettes to using unconventional fabrics and bold colour choices, I strive to push the boundaries of bridal fashion while maintaining the timeless elegance that every bride deserves on her special day. My goal is to empower brides to express themselves through their wedding dress, making it a true reflection of who they are.

Miss Scarlett's Story
Founded by Melissa So in 2019, Miss Scarlett faced a challenging start with its debut bridal collection in 2020, as it coincided with the onset of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic that significantly disrupted the world.
The unfortunate timing only forced Melissa to persevere with the mission to create inclusive, high-quality gowns that empower every bride, and today, Miss Scarlett is not only available in beautiful bridal boutiques across the globe but is proudly worn by many brides on their special day.
